As I type this, people are arriving into town and calling me... and it's hitting me... LUEY IS HERE!If you've never been to my site before... welcome! DaddyBear Robert Teachey, the LUEY webmater (and one fine-lookin' man) sent the following email to the LUEY email list. It's a good primer covering some of the questions some first-time LUEY vistors might have, so i thought I'd share it here. ------------------- Wardrobe: LUEY Weekend was started 35 years ago by a gay leather biker group... The Texas Riders. It's remains a L/leather and Bear event. So... the only theme is Leather, Bears and come as you are, heh heh.

Houston is getting ready for you... are you ready for Houston?  LUEY kicks off two weeks from tomorrow... and I'm really looking forward to it (as always)  This year, I have arranged for some neat things here... I have lined up some guest photographers to share their work here, and if you're interested in putting your LUEY pics online here, I'm happy to host those... simply click the "Contact Me" link above.In the meanitime, if you haven't registered yet, you should.  You can still register online at LUEYWEEKEND.COM. Look forward to seeing you here!

This year will be a big year for LUEY: 35 years! That's a long time and a lot of men entertained!  My buddies on the Houston Council of Clubs assure me that there is a lot in store for all of us lucky men and women who attend this year.  I know I'm excited... I hope you are, too.  As always, email or message me if you have any specific questions about LUEY or Houston or... you know... what I get into in the sack.  

I can't speak for every one of the exactly 1100 other people registered, but I had a BALL this year (ICOH had quite a few balls in their skit during the Show of Shows, too!)

All of Houston and the leather, bear and boy communities from 30 states and three countries owe a HUGE debt of gratitude to the officers, member clubs and organizations and auxillary groups that form the LUEY Weekend committee.  

There are 490 photos in this year's LUEY galleries that I personally took.  You do NOT have to register on this site to view the photos! 

New this year is a feature that will allow you to customize your own download. As you see photos you like, just click the "Add to cart..." icon and when you've added all you want, then you can either download those files as a zip file or print the photos at shutterfly.com.  These photos are also available in larger resolution, please contact me if you require a higher-quality file (perhaps you WANT a poster-size photo, who knows?)
